I’m laughing over a memory of mine from decades back… from an Egil’s… I think we were still at Fern Ridge. Yeah, that long ago. (early 1980’s)
Typical event, you find all kinds of strange passengers in year gear when unpacking.
All done and I sat down to practice recorder during the afternoon. For those of you who don’t play recorder or other wind instruments, there is a “complication” of playing, where moisture builds up in the airway and impedes the sound. Every recorder player gets into the habit of sucking air back through the mouthpiece as you play when it feels as through it’s building up.
….so I start to play, the airflow isn’t clear, I automatically suck back through…. and then start coughing out pieces of earwig…… 🙂
